Birth of Wayassauto
It all began in 1906 in Turin, but it is in Asti, where we are moved in 1908, that we really put down roots.
Ours was born here industrial soul, and we haven't stopped since then.
We grew up producing mechanical components for industry automotive and, except during the difficult periods of the two wars world championships, we have always kept alive the technical and innovative spirit that we distinguishes.

From there a new chapter began made of technology, research and the desire to do things well.
A company that evolves without forgetting its roots
In 2000 we became ArvinMeritor Suspension System Italia, then in 2006 we returned to our original name: Way Assauto.
A return to the past that also marked a new energy.
In 2011 we became part of the international Cijan Group.
It was an important step: it allowed us to invest even more in the production, brand development and quality of our shock absorbers for cars, buses, trucks and trailers.

And we didn't stop: in 2020 we opened our Innovation Center in Turin, a space entirely dedicated to research and development.

Today, thanks to over 100 years of experience, we are present both in Italy and abroad with a complete range of quality shock absorbers. We design to measure, work in close collaboration with our customers, and are never satisfied.
Every component that leaves our factories is checked, tested and put to the test. We do static, dynamic and durability tests. We use advanced machinery to ensure that every shock absorber is safe, reliable and in line with all regulations.
We know that in our sector the difference is made by the details. This is why we focus everything on long-lasting performance, selected materials and Made in Italy production that speaks of passion, competence and craftsmanship.
